Disaster Relief Ministries

 
Disaster Relief Ministries is a service ministry of the Baptist Men of North Carolina. It is open to both men and women. The vision is to share the love of Christ by providing disaster relief all over the United States - clean-up, mass feeding and water, portable showers, day care, rebuilding, etc.

Youth Worship Tours

 
Youth Worship Tours is a mission function of the youth music ministry. The youth choir travels somewhere in the eastern United States and shares the love of Christ through music and drama with persons in need. In the past, the choir has ministered in hospitals, prisons, family housing, apartment complexes, etc.

Intergenerational Mission Trips

 
UHBC provides opportunities for persons of all ages to participate in missions outside of Charlotte. Typically these trips are during the summer. There have been opportunities for construction, landscaping, prayer walking and Vacation Bible Schools.

North Carolina Baptist State Convention

 
North Carolina Baptist State Convention is a cooperative organization of the Southern Baptist churches in North Carolina. Its mission is to mobilize North Carolina Baptists for ministry. It also sponsors statewide ministries such as Baptist colleges, children's homes, retirement homes, college ministry, church planting, disaster relief, etc.

NAMB is the domestic missions agency of the Southern Baptist Convention. Its defined mission is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, start New Testament congregations, minister to persons in the name of Christ, and assist churches in the United States, Canada and U.S. territories in effectively performing these functions. If currently supports over 5,300 missionaries. NAMB also provides opportunities for Christians to participate in long-term and short-term ministry in the US.

Woman's Missionary Union is an affiliate of the Southern Baptist Convention. WMU's purpose is to provide opportunity for women and girls to learn about, give to and participate in missions in the US and all over the world. The WMU provides the educational materials for the Acteens, Girls in Action and Mission Friends.
