The International Field is where we seek to carry the Gospel of Jesus all over the world!
ENTER the International Field:
  • Panama Mission Trip: we will be taking a trip to Panama in August to serve with a UHBC member who is a missionary to Panama.  Please reach out with the form below for more details.
  • International Mission Board (IMB): be equipped and sent to live among a people group in order to see the Gospel planted and bear fruit by God’s grace! More info about this ministry HERE
  • International Student Ministry (World Village): this team plans events to connect with international students. World Village helps new students settle in to the US, builds relationships at doughnut and samosa give-aways, and starts Bible studies.
  • Bless Afghan Refugees: since August of 2021 refugees have been coming to the US from Afghanistan. This is a key time to help the refugees get settled in the community. There are practical things like helping learn the culture, get set up with assistance programs, give rides, give friendship, etc.
Help Others ENTER the International Field:
  • Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (December): each year we partner with SBC churches to collect the LMCO which all goes to support International missionaries serving with IMB. Last year we collected over $37,500!
  • Cooperative Program: SBC churches pool resources together to financially support their state convention’s mission efforts , NAMB, IMB, Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC), and the six SBC seminaries in America. Our church currently gives 10% (about $90,000) of our offerings annually to go to the Cooperative Program.
  • Higher Hope (Haiti): A ministry to help share Christ, His saving grace, and resources with the people of Haiti.  UHBC has partnered with Higher Hope both financially and by sending teams to help with special projects.
  • AIM Air (Africa): An aviation ministry of Africa Inland Mission (AIM) that provides critical air-travel support to keep missionaries safer and serving longer in Africa.  UHBC’s connection to AIM Air is personal as one of their mechanics has relatives in our church.
  • Agape Chinese Church: the church that gathers and reaches people from China. We partner with this church as we share the church building on Sundays for worship and for other events during the week. This church is reaching people, especially Chinese students, with the Gospel!
